About the Book

Most of the poems in this book are based on actual events which occurred from the 1940´s up to the present. Names of people involved are used with permission. When I started writing, publication never occurred to me. Comments from family and friends convinced me to do it So others could enjoy them. If you want deep, philosophical content, this book isn´t for you, But if you´re tired of that, and want a light-hearted look at life in a country setting, it is.

About the Author

Linda Wacowski was born and raised on the family farm in West Virginia. She attributes her ability to look at life with humor to her father. Her interests include music, rafting, reading, and all aspects of the environment. Although this is her first book, another one is being considered, since country life contains a multitude of possibilities. She gives credit to the unknown person who said: "Respect All Living Things" for the insight into beings, which with us, share this beautiful earth.
