About the Book

Peter Haley served as an elected member of School Committee in Winchester, Massachusetts from 1998 to 2004. This collection of articles and speeches is a chronicle of his experience. It is offered with the hope that others may seek out similar opportunities, and with the belief that politics is something that is a serious and honorable calling for all of us. The author’s proceeds from this book will be donated for the benefit of the Winchester Community Service Foundation, which funds the Connect & Commit service learning program at Winchester High School.

Peter Haley is a resident of Winchester, Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife and two children. He served as an elected member of the School Committee in Winchester from 1998 to 2004.
