Pink!

About the Book

On a spring day, I was in the kitchen and a kitten came up to the window. She put her paws on the screen and looked in, meowed, and stayed there for a while. Immediately, I knew this was going to be our cat. I told my mommy about how a kitten had been hanging around looking in our windows. The kitten wasn’t around for a few days and then behold! There she was as cute as can be. I opened the window and she ran right in straight downstairs into the basement. I asked my momma if we could keep her and she said we would first need to bring her to the vet for a check-up. She has since been a member of our family along with Simon the dog and Jessie the bird. As the years went on, I could never know what this cat now named “Pink” was thinking with her behavior. I then wondered and came up with this story as I looked at Pink one day.
