Although this way of thinking did not rub off onto him, he learned very important lessons in life as a result of his encounters with those individuals. Once bob had ended his time in service, ETS, he worked on a simple job as a convenient store manager and managed to live on minimal sources of income but continually striving to earn more money and to make a better life for himself and his family. Bob eventually took on a job as a part-time jailer for the nagly county florida sheriff department and began to observe a series of strange and unexplainable events involving certain inmates who were incarcerated for drug trafficking. After figuring out what was going on, he had to make the decision as to whether or not he would blow the whistle to anyone or whether he would just keep silent. In the midst of the race, the plot thickens, the incumbent sheriff along with one of his brothers, were assassinated by his drug supplier. Bob was the only registered candidate in line for the position only if the heirs of the assassinated sheriff should choose not to run under the grandfather clause of the county bi-laws.
