About the Book
This book is a culmination of the life and times Jerry Wayne Presson. It includes the many moves his family made during his growing up years. It includes many childhood memories of growing up in a large family, some good and some not so good. It progresses on through the school years into adulthood, marriage and the raising of a family. A move back to Arkansas in 1979, then to the continued growth of the family. This book also contains poetry written by Jerry Presson during the 1970’s and early 1980’s.
About the Author
Jerry Wayne Presson was born in Huntington, Arkansas on January 15, 1945. Jerry was the fourth of eight children born to Freeman and Ruth Presson. As a child growing up Jerry attended grade school at Midland, Arkansas, this school was torn down in the early 1960’s. In 1959 Jerry and his family moved to Corona, California and after many trips back and forth Jerry Graduated from Corona Senior High School on June 13, 1963. On January 30, 1964 Jerry married Beverly Ann Austin. Jerry and Beverly had two children; Robert Nolen was born on Sept. 8, 1964 and Tracy Lynn was born on July 17, 1967.
