About the Book

Our daughter was born on May 23, 1992, a floppy infant. Chloe’s size and allergies and asthma played into hiding the center issue she had to finally uncover. Chloe has a central nervous system disorder that has affected her learning style and limited use of shoulders and arms until recently. Through supervised exercise and other suggested steps by doctors, we got to this point. The “two steps forward then one step backward” process it took finally uncovered the issue and corrected it; it seemed like it would never end. We would like to share what we learned like others shared with us.

About the Author

I was born on May 9, 1953 and raised in a rural area twenty fi ve miles southeast of Green Bay, Wisconsin. I was fourth of fi ve siblings raised by our father, a veteran with a college degree and our mom who got her GED in her 40’s. After graduating from Mishicot High School, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and graduated 1976 with a BS degree in psychology. My degree, and certifi cation had me working as an AODA counselor in several different jobs till I meet my husband and we married in 1983 and have two daughters. I switched into the developmental disabilities and then worked as a facility program manager till leaving in 2000.
