About the Author

Rhythm and blues, gospel roots, alternative soul, and jazz inspirations are some of the influences of author L. J. Sherard. Originally from the southern part of Georgia and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. While growing up in Baltimore, he developed his skills and talent as a writer to become more effective and promote success, taking from the experiences of life and incorporating his ideas into various projects and books. Having musical inspirations from Chester “Lyfe” Jennings and favorite poems done by Langston Hughes, L. J. Sherard has continually chose to embrace various genres to his writing abilities. He has always been passionate about his material which allowed him to keep an open-minded perspective on his ability to create innovative ways from the everyday routine. Taking the demands of achieving success into perspective, his characteristics contribute to his skill as a successful writer.
