About the Book

Warning: The following book contains 200 cartoons which may make you smile, chuckle, flashback to years of your youth, and/or scratch your head and go “huh?” These cartoons were inspired by expressions that I have heard during my life time, misheard words or phrase, and/or in some cases questionable puns. Some of these cartoons can be read with your mind in “cruise control” while others may require your “thinking cap!” Regardless, they were written with the intent of brightening your day! So take off you game face, relax, and let the sunlight enter!

About the Author

Jeff Nystrom is an artist, a father, a chemist, a teacher, a coach, and a Christian. As one of four children, he became well versed in the use of the pun at a young age. He has uncanny ability to “mishear” what someone has said. His passion for understanding the world around him has given him an unusual perspective which has shaped his humor. Formally a chemist, he has taught both at the high school and college level as well as spent many years in the textile, plastics, water, and paper industries. A major portion of his career has involved solving problems. We live in a world which tries to fit every aspect of our lives into well-defined boxes. To solve problems efficiently, you have to learn how to think outside of these boxes. As the world has changed around him, so has his sense and need for humor changed.
