About the Book

The story in this book is about how wrong it is to be hurtful to another person and the possible consequences of a wrong action. The dolls are "Lady" dolls who feel that they are better than the stuffed animals who occupy the shelves on the side of Little Mary's bedroom. The dolls and stuffed animals are her favorite toys. She also owns a beautiful china tea set that had belonged to her grandmother when she was a little girl and all the pieces are there. None have been broken. The story is about what almost happened to that tea set.

About the Author

Faye Caldwell lives with her husband, Porter, and four spoiled cats in the mountains of Virginia, near the historic town of Fincastle. Her hobbies are drawing, writing stories and plays (since her childhood days), playing musical instruments--piano, pump organ, guitar, dulcimer and lately, the Celtic or lever harp. After 36 years in a public job, she now manages her husband’s copper shop and indulges in her love of art, writing and music.
