Singletary, Herrin: Arthur's Book – written, compiled, and edited by Arthur and Nancy Singletary– is a genealogical record and family counsel written for posterity. Friends, relatives and genealogy buffs will find the pages spiritually uplifting and informative. Arthur gives his testimony of his belief in Christ and desire to have his family sealed for time and all eternity. Some of the personal vignettes will hit home and be familiar to any of the generation that experienced the Marine Corps in the Vietnam era, or have pioneer ancestors who came down the Wiregrass trail.

Arthur had edited this material as recently as November 2010 before he went into Intensive Care in December under respiratory distress. He passed away January 7, 2011, a result of Agent Orange exposure many years ago in Vietnam. When his wife, Nancy, found his files she knew he would want them published for posterity. Arthur Singletary, Major USMC Retired, was born 24 February 1941 in Mayo, Lafayette County, Florida.
