About the Author

Ifti Nasim is the co-founder of Sangat/Chicago, a Southasian Les/Bi/Gay/Transgender organization and support group. He is also the president of Southasian Performing Arts Council of America. He was inducted into the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame in 1996.He lectures on sexual diversity among southasian in Diaspora at different university in the States and aboard. World Peace Academy of Delaware gave him an honorary Doctorate of Literature.He is a widely poet, writer and activist. He is Currently residing in Chicago. He also writes in Urdu and Punjabi.
