About the Book
For the most part, these stories eschew violence and terror. ”Day by day living encompasses enough excitement and drama,” Michell says. “I am saddened by the enormous embrace of sex, murder and vice that pervades our movies, television and literature gratuitously, with little literary merit.” Midge Michell’s cameos bring us an unusual insight into the human spirit. They are thoughtful, sensitive episodes in the lives of ordinary people, a refreshing interlude from today’s frenetic scene.
