About the Book

You´ll want to read a sample of my novel even more if you saw Sofia Coppola´s film, with Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette.

History’s bimbo. Poster girl for wretched excess. Beheaded at 38, to wild cheering. Brainless. Heartless. Clueless. Was she?

Louisa, Princess of Lamballe. Born in Italy. Betrayed into widowhood. Best friend and, some say, lover of Marie Antoinette. Were they? The answers are in this first novel from a former theater critic, copywriter and ghostwriting entrepreneur.

Little is known of Louisa, and myth has hidden the real Marie Antoinette. Both women come clear in Blood Sisters, a juicy, authentically detailed, fact-based imagining of the bond between the remarkable woman who was the last French Queen and the woman who was her friend to the end.
