About the Book
“A Twiddlebirds Christmas” is a delightful romp, in the spirit of “The Wizard of Oz” or “ Alice in Wonderland,” where we meet the complex and engaging Miss Megan Ann Twiddlebirds as she journeys into The Land of Dough and a Land of Fa and Near in an attempt to defeat Quirk, Smirk and Dirk.
About the Author
M. Tricia Lee, the author, was one of the first women to attend the University of Notre Dame, one of only 300 women in America chosen to go to Notre Dame. She was a straight -A student with honors classes in high school. This is her fourth children’s book. Elle Opitz, the illustrator, is a student at the University of Chicago, where she is currently working on attaining her bachelor’s degree in both fine art and psychology. She has won a variety of awards for her artwork, especially in the realm of cartooning and design. Elle also works as an editorial cartoonist for The Maroon, the University of Chicago newspaper.
