About the Book
The Document is an epic thriller that spans five generations beginning in 1862. A newly developing country is formed with a constitution, which is stolen and forged to enhance the wealth and control of the occupying English. The story traces the development of a small island nation that was discovered by English seafarers. From the simple culture that flourished prior to the arrival of the English to the deceit that follows this story moves from the coast of Africa to Boston through two world wars and the advent of the industrial revolution. The Document follows five families and their constant struggle to bring equity to the descendants of the original occupants of the island. The families continually vie for control and wealth only to be brought down when the truth is revealed. The twists and turns the murder and the suspense will keep you constantly guessing.
About the Author
Paul Friedlander is a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in business and former advertising executive. While traveling the Caribbean the idea for this book was born. Paul has lived in several different countries and now resides in Miami with his wife Katerina. Susane Leone, a graduate of MDCC with a degree in art. She is the co-author of "Survivor". Susane enjoys traveling, watercolor painting, cooking and playing the flute. She currently resides in Miami with her husband Joe. Cover Design by Zoraida Haibi
