About the Book

The Beast is a bawdy and humorous satire on the delicate subject of cloning as a method of terrorism as it exists in our world today. Its timely appearance was inspired by the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut in 1983, as well as the recent attacks on America on 9/11 by the Al Quaeda Network. In parts it is outrageously funny as well as philosophically insightful. In other parts it is fearsomely sad, but believe it or not, ends on an up beat.

About the Author

Thomas L. Little Esquire, a retired lawyer and former United States Marine, and Andrew Robson, a Namibian citizen, are both Senior Addiction Counselors at “ The Refuge”, an alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation campsite in the desert near Swakopmund, Namibia. They are both experienced writers, but this is their first effort at fiction. They chose satire and humor as their medium to express the social dynamics and dysfunctions that lead to terrorism in our modern world.
