About the Book

A woman, whose beauty is beyond description, is pursued by a wealthy attorney she dislikes intensely. His lustful actions remind her of her first husband who abused her both mentally and physically to the point that she no longer feels she can trust any man. The attorney’s passion eventually reaches the point where he decides that she either accepts him or she dies. The fact that he has killed before and not been caught convinces him he is superior to the police and that he will never be charged with her murder.

About the Author

Grayce L. Higgins wrote her first novel at the age of sixty-eight. Now at the age of eighty-three she had written three novels, ruined lives, all but one and the latest, the devil’s twin. All three were published through Xlibris, a Self- Publishing Company. Grayce lived in Oregon most of her life and recently retired to Vancouver, Washington when her husband passed away. She has four children and one tiny, demanding black dog, Moose, who thinks he is human.
