About the Book

The Oakling is an adventure story. It’s got the hero, the sidekick, and the villain. It’s a little unorthodox, maybe. Maybe the hero and his sidekick aren’t the best of friends; maybe the villain is on the verge of becoming a good guy. Everything is a little ambiguous, and that separates it from standard adventure stories. Nor is this book meant for children. It has adult content, adult things happen to adult characters in adult situations, and frankly, most adults can be pretty childish. If you’re a kiddy, put the book down. Now!
