About the Author
Jean Welt Taylor was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. She graduated from Suffield (Connecticut) High School and Bay Path Junior College in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She worked for several years as a medical secretary. She took a three-year correspondence writing course with the Famous Writers School in Westport, Connecticut. Jean has written many non-fiction articles for magazines and newspapers, including her own pictures. Her photographs have occurred on several magazine covers. This book contains 45 photos, including a map, poems and genealogies of Annie's and our families as they pertain to characters in this biography. In the bicentennial of the country, 1976, Jean wrote the script and did the photography for a movie AGAWAM-The Growth of a Town of which Feeding Hills is the western section where Annie Sullivan was born. It was produced by professionals. Later she transferred this movie onto nine videocassettes, one for each school in Agawam, and its library.
