About the Book

Steve Houston, handsome, 43-year-old, down-to-earth President of Inventions Unlimited is a self-made multimillionaire.  He finds himself locked in the twilight zone between life and death, facing his personal Judgement Day at the hands, he thinks, of Saint Peter, whereby he has no choice but to watch moments of his life unfold before his eyes.  With absolutely no recollection of how he got there in the first place, he assumes this is the process through which all new recruits must pass before their ultimate fate is determined.  His journey of judgement takes him back to his childhood and rekindles memories of a loving mother who dies mysteriously and an abusive father, whom he isn´t sure wasnt responsible for her death.  His is a hard life and one, it seems, that continually presents him with challenges.  He succeeds despite everything to become a wealthy entrepreneur, but the price of success is his health and, at 40, Houston is diagnosed with cancer.  Not knowing how much longer he has left, he fights the disease using unconventional means and simultaneously decides to tie up the loose ends of his life, one of which is finding out what happened to his mother.  Unaware of the Pandoras Box he is about to open, he plunges blindly ahead on a journey of intrigue, suspense and betrayal that costs him friendships, relationships and ultimately his life.  Or does it?

About the Author

Educated in Barbados and Jamaica, Geoffrey Parris is founder and chair of the successful destination management company, Sunlinc. He is the author of The Other Side of Twilight, part one of a trilogy, of which Three Faces of Evil is a sequel. The saga continues with the final segment, Today’s Grief, Tomorrow’s Revenge, due in 2007. Mr. Parris lives in Weston, Florida.
