About the Book
The story of Oak Island and its “Money Pit” began in 1795, and to date is unsolved. It is a pit that was dug an indiscernible number of centuries ago, yet has managed to elude all attempts to learn what lies at the bottom of it. It is an intriguing, real story that is the basis for the treasure in Lost Treasures.
Trish Cartwright planned to settle into her impending life as a spinster gracefully, eventually. Before she did that however, she intended to have one grand love affair. When she met Kaman Fox, she thought him to be the perfect partner for her affair. She only had to convince him of that.
The first time Kaman Fox met Trish Cartwright, she offered to purchase his “services” for the evening. It was an outrageous request. He knew then, that this woman must be involved in the intrigue surrounding an almost forgotten treasure map.
By the time Kaman realized that Trish was not an accomplice in anything, it was too late. His enemies had seen them together, and that placed her in jeopardy.
Tossed together as they struggled to outwit the villenous Fontenelle, Trish and Kaman find themselves undeniably attracted to one another. As the game between himself and Fontenelle drew to a close, Kaman found himself forced to chose between the richness of what he had discovered with Trish, or whatever treasure lay at the bottom of the treasure pit.
