About the Book
In the decade that followed the Callisto invasion debacle of 2175, the obsession smoldered. Greed and impatience grew. PAX FEMINA’s ruling elite concentrated its energies on one overwhelming ambition - the destruction of Callisto. The Callisto colonists continued to grow and prosper. Unwilling to anticipate the worst, they lived in a utopian euphoria. On Earth, conditions deteriorated. Sea levels continued to rise, pollution accumulated to critical levels, death became so commonplace that burial and cremation ceased to be practiced. Fort Worth became the “dead city” where bodies were stacked along the coastlines to be swept out to sea by the rising tides. Resentment and despondency spread. The time was ripe for rebellion.
Terran Security Forces lay siege on Clairemont University. The staff escapes, but not before sending a coded message to Callisto. PAX FEMINA has combined the Home and Colonial Fleets for an impending invasion.
Titanic forces collide as the five battle groups of PAX FEMINA engage the rebel fleet off the Callisto halo, while Terran Security Forces clash with the rising power of the rebellion for a final showdown.
