About the Book

[available now]

The saga, based on historical fact, of a half-breed orphan boy who rises to become the last great war chief of the fierce Comanche. His name was Quanah Parker, and this story is told through his eyes. He is driven by his hatred of the Texans who killed his father and took his mother captive. He searches for her throughout the bloodiest war of the frontier, then is relentlessly pursued by a cavalry officer ordered to kill him. Beneath his war paint is a man who deeply loves his family, people, way of life and freedom for which he is willing to die.
