About the Book

Tyler Kaus was born in Oklahoma City, but soon moved to the East Coast where he had a successful career as a New York advertising copywriter, creative director and magazine editor. Stricken with polio at age five, which left him completely paralyzed from the waist down, did not keep him down, by any means! He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Duke University, where he played Principal Oboe with the Duke Symphony. During his advertising career, he became a Life Master in tournament bridge and was a member of the National Wheelchair Athletic Association Hall of Fame for his national and Paralympic successes (300-plus trophies and medals) at many wheelchair sports. These include swimming, table tennis, racing, shotput, javelin, discus, bowling, and tennis. His latest passion is writing books, which in addition to this one, includes his first book of original haiku, one of original puns, one in the works of classic punecdotes that he wishes he had written, and a series of educational children's books, now in the formative stage.

About the Author

Tyler Kaus was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, but soon moved to the East Coast, where he had a successful career as a New York advertising copywriter, creative director, and magazine editor and publisher. Stricken with polio at age five, which left him completely paralyzed from the waist down, did not keep him down, however. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Duke University, where he played Principal Oboe with the Duke Symphony. During his advertising career, he became a life Master in tournament bridge, and was a member of the National Wheelchair Athletic Association Hall of Fame for his national and international successes (300-plus trophies and medals) in many wheelchair sports. These include swimming, table tennis, racing, shotput, javelin, discus, bowling, target shooting, and tennis. Since his retirement from business, his latest passion is writing books, which in addition to this one, includes two volumes of original haiku poetry, one of original puns, and one massive collection of his favorite classic pun stories.
