About the Book

The Big Sur Country provided inspiration for “Ocean Mist and Wildflowers”, which has as it’s basis the many faces of love and the many ways in which love manifests in our lives and touches our hearts. I hope you will enjoy the romance, rhythm and beauty expressed in this book, as well as the stories of pain and loss. My underlying theme has always been an insatiable need to delve into life’s mysteries and explore such avenues as reincarnation, interdimensional aspects and multiple universes. I hope the possibilities I’ve suggested will provide enlightenment and encourage further questions.

About the Author

Music, art and writing abilities abound on both sides of Kathi’s Scots-Irish and German family lineage. Her grandmother, Frances Carter Perham was a poet and distant cousin, Lemuel Perham’s poetry was published in “The Poets of Maine.” Kathi’s writing took precedence over her art work and her writing has appeared in various Minnesota publications and National anthologies. She is a “heart” poet who expresses the muse’s dictation as it flows through her heart and soul and believes that whatever joy, truth and beauty is revealed comes from her Creator. Kathi is a mother of three and currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with her Calico cat, Phoenix.
