About the Book

This book is dedicated to my daughter Nancy Ellen Donovan Krauss. Nancy is such a bright and beautiful part of my life.

Pictured are my daughter and her daughter, Billie Marie Krauss. Nancy has the gift for writing and expresses herself outstandingly. Included in this book is something she wrote about losing her only brother, Michael Delaney Donovan. They were five years apart in age, and although she was the older of the two, she looked up to her brother as her protector. There wasn’t anything he could not do in her eyes. He was her superman. What i would want to tell you is He was my superman also. i believed in him, and knew he would always be here to take care of me. Nancy, my angel face, is so very beautiful and such a part of her brother. they were always inseperable. they usually always got along and when they talked, they talked deep. he was most definitely her soul mate.

About the Author

This is my fifth book. My first book, “Through the Tears” was dedicated to Michael whose death sadly assisted us in getting my poetry published. “No Greater Love” was dedicated to my mom’s Margaret Frieze, Marie Jenkins, and Lenora Derryberry. “Coming of Age” is dedicated to all of our veterans. “Somewhere within Our Mind” dedicated to our daughter who with Michael’s death struggled to keep it together. What she wrote as a result would take my breath away. “It’s in The Memories”; would take me quite a while to write. Santa, my constant sole mate listened, advised, gave me feedback even when I know it was tearing his heart out. This journey although painful beyond description has also been rewarding. Michael is gone but he left such a mark in our lives that there is no need for sorrow. It is time for me to share Michael’s life with you. From the time he decided to be born in the hallway of Riverside Hospital at 3:45am December 18th, 1972 and through his adventurous life. There are pictures showing the grit, the spark, the mischievousness and the spirit of this wild Irish lad, named Michael Delaney Donovan.
