About the Book

The Internet is a wonderful place filled with the most excellent works of mankind. Yet it is also a dark and dangerous place that is packed with perils that want to snare the unsuspecting user. This book is written as an educational guide to the safe use of the Internet. It is my hope that this work will equip the average user of the World Wide Web with the basic skills to be able to safely use and enjoy all that is found within this masterful collection of information known as the Internet.

About the Author

David Michael Brown is a native of South Carolina who now calls the Atlanta, Georgia area home. He is a professional educator with 15 years of experience in secondary and post secondary schools in his native state and Georgia. For 16 years, he worked for a regional telecommunications firm in marketing, training, and Information Technology. His experience with his own commercial web site since 1996 helped him garner the knowledge he used to author two works about the Internet.
