About the Book

Angel of Death is a vampire thriller set in a post-9-11 world. Angel Merino is a troubled CIA agent whose career stands in jeopardy because she refused to kill when her partner’s life was in danger. A review board gives her a choice--quit intelligence forever or join the Spook Squad, an exiled department where bad agents are sent to finish their careers. Seeing no real choice, Angel reports to her new assignment. Angel and her new partner Scott, a naïve young agent, are sent to investigate the murders of several Spook Squad agents. The pair must travel across the world from the barren wastelands of Antarctica to the steamy jungles of the Yucatan to Oxford searching for the truth and running from its pure evil. In the process, they learn that the true nature of the Spook Squad has little to do with the spy game and everything to do with real spooks--the bloodsucking kind. Interfering lawyers, marauding vampires, and a chilling conspiracy test Angel’s resolve to her faith, her decision not to kill ever again. But how can you kill the undead?
