Behind the Red Apple is a book of free verse poetry. Each poem has rhythm and evokes colorful images. The poems give the reader an opportunity to enjoy, grow, and develop skills in education, health, and social understanding. This collection of poetry can be transformed into a daily manual. Through sharing communication can become more positive between the mature and young. Reading Behind the Red Apple will help keep the apples.

About the Author

Charlotte H. Ford, author of Behind the Red Apple, is a product of the Detroit Public School system. She is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Ms Ford taught in the Detroit School system and counseled youths for a number of years before retiring. Through her years of interaction with youths, she recognized the need for our youth to develop avenues for building their character. Her experience and concern created a dedication to the development of Behind the Red Apple Interactive Lessons. It is her hope and dream that this book will make a tremendous impact on the way adolescence will emotionally and educationally evolve in our society. When she is not writing, she enjoys taking walks with her dog, Rhubert Max.
