New Book Series Invites Kids to Learn Life Lessons through Adventure The Story of Friends Series is about being unique. These stories teach the compassion, kindness, and understanding that go along with friendship. All three stories take place on an island. A group of animals and creatures that are the least likely to be paired as friends live on this island. There are two main characters in the series: one is a large turtle named Tip-over, who has a very interesting shell, and a really annoying rabbit named Buzz. These two characters take you along with them on their imaginary and silly turn of events.

The Story of Friends consists of three books. The first book is an introduction to most of the characters. It details what odd events and unique problems take place that bring the two main characters together. The second book is about being able to accept that not all things are the same and that good things come out of being unique. It also teaches many wonderful lessons. The third book introduces the reader to more islands where other animals and creatures live.
