Lawrence Mannion is employed as an EAP consultant in the ACCESS Employee Assistance Program of Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. He received his Ph.D. degree in the History of Western Education from Albany State University, Albany, New York, and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Friends University, Wichita, Kansas. He is the author of another book on employee assistance, "Employee Assistance Programs: What Works and What Doesn't".
