About the Book

Pablo overcomes the adversity of the early west in his quest buy and owns his very special calf roping stallion. His dream is to train the stallion for calf roping and win ranch rodeo, then go on to professional rodeo and win enough money to buy his own ranch. Pablo hopes to stand his stallion to mares throughout the west. This will be no problem if the team is successful in the sport of professional rodeo.

This story takes the reader through daily ranch life in the early west. Pablo hunts for his food for each meal, he hunts wolves who are a danger to the cow heard, and he trains his faithful horse Wevel. One is able to visualize Pablo's dream as Pablo overcomes adversity each day to reach his goal.

Filled with hunting and fishing, this story, tells of life with the Indians, Indian lore, being married to an Indian woman, and a trust in an animal that Pablo hopes will bring his dream into reality.
