PIECES

About the Book

This is basically a collection of poems with a few pieces of prose sprinkled in. It’s also a storybook of people, places, events and beliefs that I was inspired to write about. Most of the poems are stories in themselves. Some are happy, some are sad, and some start out one way but end up another. Most of us have experienced love, pain, anger, or helplessness at one time or another. We remember September 11th, and how one second during any otherwise normal day can change lives forever. Some may know a “Joe the Welder”, or have lost a pet or have questioned their fate, or the mysterious ways in which God works. I hope this touches a place in your heart, or memory, or at least relates to a piece of your own life in some small way.
