Lincoln Stewart is not looking for intrigue or adventure.

half a million dollars that disappeared from his accounts
one Friday.
But if he is ever going to fi nd out, he will have to
get involved in more intrigue than he ever imagined.
And lots of very convincing possibilities jump out at
him as he starts probing.
Maybe this is a joke by some of his technology-geeky
friends. Maybe this is just a case of identity theft.
Maybe this is the revenge of a terrorist/criminal
character from a past encounter. Maybe this is
connected to events that transpired in Lebanon way
back in the 1980’s. Maybe . . . . . . .
And nothing seems to make much sense: Pranks and
jokes lie side by side with suicides and brutal murders.
Terrorists and bank robbers appear like government
agents. And the seemingly carefree participants in this
drama are not nearly as shallow as they appear.
Does he get his money (and his life) back? Is that even
what he really wants?
