About the Book
She was leaving her home behind thousands of miles to start a new adventure. An oppurtunity to experience the differences of a culture other than her own, all while gaining a higher education. He was intrigued by this newcomer in his circle of friends. Through each others families they would be subject to different views, ideals and ways of thinking. Together they would find strong emotions that drew them closer, more than they ever could have expected.
The world would forever change in a single day. With it each individual changed, leaving some to struggle within themselves altering their relationships. The same differences that drew them toghether now pulled them apart. The world needed to be put on a path of healing and harmony. But it would be a long hard fought battle and sacrifices needed to be made. Could their love be strong enough to survive or would it be just another sacrifice in ridding the world of its dark days ahead.
About the Author
The author is the youngest of 5 children born and raised in Jamestown, N.Y. He graduated from Southwestern High School and earned a Bachelors degree at Longwood University in Farmville, VA. All three of his brothers served as officers in the U.S. military. Two still do. Both of them have served in Iraq. One served there in Operation Desert Storm. The other in the current conflict in which he earned the Bronze Star by leading soldiers, under fire, to help rescue the live crew and recover the deceased crew of a downed helicopter. The author currently resides in Richmond, Va. with his trusty friend Sabre, a 6 year old Siberian Husky, not far from his oldest brother and family. Most of the rest of his family live within three hours of him either north or south. Except one brother, his wife and three children who reside in Florida where he is preparing for deployment to kuwait
