About the Book

This book is a collection of original poems as well as a short story by Lauren Daniels. Everything found in this book is based on things that have happened through out her life. The title of her book, “Lost and Found” is also the title of a short story. Despite some minor details everything found in the story is true. Starting from early adolescence the reader gets to experience Lauren’s life as she slowly starts to grow and mature. You will feel how she felt as she made her mistakes and quickly learned from them. She tells her story in a very real and raw way that definitely allows you to step into her shoes.

About the Author

Lauren Daniels is a 17 year old who grew up on Long Island, New York. She comes from a very small family and has experienced a lot of ups and downs during the short time she’s been on this earth. This book is one of her greatest accomplishments. Throughout her life she has seen and done things that not everyone has and she feels that this was her opportunity to share that with the world. Today’s society is filled with so many bad things and through this book she hopes to stop people from making the same mistakes that she did.
