About the Book

Here I am with these wonderful gems of the earth. We invited some sixth graders who pretended to be some of the adults we met on our journey to America. I loved to invite our Principal, Mrs. G., and some Teachers to see the exciting, fun, and enriching ways we learned in First Grade. This book explains the new skills we mastered.

Teaching is a delicate, challenging, and surprising adventure in opening the minds of children. I was truly blessed for over 55 years of being a part of the lives of children
