About the Book
“Reality Check” is just that: a view of the world as it really is. Its theory is based on objective, visual, and measurable reality—stark, tested, unadulterated, and uncompromising reality, stripped of all unverifi able beliefs such as visions, myths, miracles, divine interventions, and other beliefs. The book’s conclusions were reached after addressing these subjects: religion, philosophy, science, God, Jesus, politics, myths and miracles, the power of beliefs, faith, divine intervention, prayer, free will, chance, uncertainty, and predestination. They all come into play in this exploration of ideas of how the world works.
About the Author
George R. Fisher is a retired architect with a penchant for philosophy. After serving as a naval aviator in Okinawa during World War II, he matriculated to and graduated from the University of Florida, first in class, with a degree in architecture.. He founded an architectural office in Jacksonville, Florida, and practiced that beautiful profession for 35 years. Upon retirement, he divided his time between studying philosophy, writing this book, writing raucous letters to the editor of the local paper, and playing tennis until his knees betrayed him. He still lives in Jacksonville, where he was born.
