About the Book

Melvin Greenblatt MD attended the world famous Bronx High School of Science. The school is well known for its student´s accomplishments in the physical sciences. Less well known are the acheivements of its graduates in literature. These include Harold Bloom, E.L. Doctorow, William Safire and many others. Melvin Greenblatt received his University degree at New York University and his Medical Degree from Chicago Medical School.He is Professor Emeritus in Pathology at the University of Southern California. His poetry is quite varied in subject but always witty and often sensual.He avoids the use of the personal complex metaphor style that makes much of current poetry incomprehensible to the modern reader. Highly recommended.
