About the Book

When Love turns terrible things can happen. When the line between love and obsession has been crossed, the person who is the focus of the obsession can be placed in a very dangerous and sometimes hopeless situation. What seems like terms of endearment is often times overt measures used by the person who is obsessing over the other person, to distract them from seeing what’s really going on. Paula is one such Person. She gets caught up in a world of lies, cheating physical abuse and violence. She tries to get away from the relationship, but her life is at stake. She is forced to make many decisions she would not ordinarily make, placing her deeper and deeper into the web of deceit and lies. Finally the opportunity arises where she can finally be free, but not before reaching into the darkest place in her life. She holds on the faith she has in God, and prays that the freedom she seeks would eventually find her. Hold onto your seat, for When Love Turns will take you on a roller coaster ride which would really turn your stomach upside down.

About the Author

Pauline is from the West Indies, on the Small Island of Grenada. She has been living in the states for a very long time. She holds a degree in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. She has two sons. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Nursing. A second novel is also in the making.
