About the Author

Debrah Harris-Johnson authored a most influential self-help book titled: The African American Teenagers Guide to Personal Growth, Health, Safety, Sex and Survival: Living and Learning in the 21st Century (Amber Books, Phoenix, AZ), featured in Ebony Magazine and selected as a Book-on-Tape (Library of Congress). She is a Parent Educator and workshop facilitator for Effective Black Parenting, (Center for the Improvement of Child Caring -- Studio City, CA). She has also written booklets for: The Homework Helpers Guide to Better Grades and Ways to Be a Better Babysitter. A native Washingtonian, Debrah and her husband Leland reside in Maryland.
