About the Book

The Spirit of God, through the Prophet Jeremiah cries out ‘why are my daughters not healed’? Indeed, even today, many wonder why there are so many believers who need healing, even after God tells us in Exodus 15:26 that “I am the God that healeth thee”. Rev. Dr. Turkson believes strongly in God’s desire today to heal all of his people. Pastor Turkson teaches his congregation at World Missions Ministries, and wherever he is invited to preach, to resist the words of some of the religious teachers around today who would have God’s people believe that healing ceased when the apostles of old were no longer alive. Dr. Turkson firmly believes in his sermons that it is always God’s will to heal, and that we should reject anyone’s supposition that God sometimes withholds healing. Instead, it is the unbelieving person who does not receive the fullness of God’s promise, that we were, and are healed by the wounds that Jesus received on the cross.

About the Author

Author’s Biography Dr. Turkson traces the origin of sickness and death to (the devil’s work); to the revelation by Jesus Christ that ‘healing is the children’s bread’ (Matthew 15:22-28). Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the evil one and in so doing asks each of us ‘will you be made whole’? (John 5:6). Jesus was always moved with compassion when he saw the sick and suffering. He proclaimed that he was sent and came, that the children of God should have abundant life. Dr. Turkson encourages us to welcome this proclamation by Jesus as the ring of the liberty bell. God’s people and all who would accept God’s free gift of salvation have been emancipated from sickness, sin and death. Dr. Turkson has carefully linked the correlation between a prosperous, abundant life to our acceptance of the one [the Sun of righteousness] who comes with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2). We inherit health and wholeness by accepting God’s covenant of healing and health.
