About the Author

Gabriela Wilcox has over 30 years experience as a teacher of young children. Twelve years as a traditional teacher and over twenty years as a certified Montessorian. Mrs. Wilcox began her teaching career in Lima, Peru in 1963. She is the author and publisher of Touch Spanish, a hands-on Spanish program for children ages 2-17. She is one of the founders of Pebblecreek Montessori School in Plano, Texas, and is a popular speaker at national conventions organized by well known organizations such as MEPI, NCME, AMS, MIA and the Association of Christian Schools. Mrs. Wilcox is the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of 4. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading her stories to them.
