About the Author

Marie remembers creeping from her bed as a child, to read by the light filtering up the stairwell. She’s been an avid reader ever since, and is not ashamed to say that romance novels are her favorite genre. Her passion for writing is more recent, but no less fervent. In addition to her first novel, she’s written award-winning poetry (The Lyrics of My Song), social commentary (Give Me Back My Flag) and is actively engaged in memoir writing. She’s lived on three continents, raised four children, and traveled extensively with her husband, Don.
