About the Book

“Hi, my name is Bob, well Bulls-eye Bob, was what I was called by my first master. I have a big circle on my side that my first master loved to use as a target. When he hit it, or me, he would yell, “Bulls-eye”. But now I have a new master who takes care of me and loves me. The problem is my master went on vacation and left me with the family cat that looks at me and licks her lips like I am lunch! And to make matters worse, the dogs near my fence all bare their teeth and snarl at me like I am supper. HELP! I need a friend, especially one that doesn’t want to eat me. Okay, I have problems, but I am still alive. I just wonder how long..."

About the Author

Melinda Lewis was a school teacher in Texas for over twenty years. During that time, she also worked as a school librarian where she noticed the need for books dealing with the problem of bullying. After she was given Bob, who had been rescued from an abusive situation, she noticed how his behavior was similar to children she had taught who had faced bullying. She hopes her books will help children understand bullying and help them address the problem as they follow Bob’s journey back from’ abuse.
