All Donald had to do was write a human-interest story. No big deal, he had done it before. But that was before he had to write about something that was no longer a human-interest story, but his own story. A story that he had promised himself he was going to forget. He had almost succeeded in putting his old life behind him - until now. “Running from yourself only makes you a slave. Embracing who you are sets you free.”

About the Author

My name is Deborah Randall and as a teenager, I would dream of becoming a ‘star.’ However, when adulthood came, my aspirations were placed on whole, when I was blessed with a son. It was during this period in my life, that writing had taken on a much greater meaning. Where it had once been a tool to becoming a ‘star’ had now transformed itself into a means of reaching the hurting. I believe that God has given each of us gifts that He wants to use to minister for Him. I feel honored to be one of His workers.
