About the Book

Tony gets his first chance to walk home after school. His neighbor, Tevin has traveled the route many times and always enjoys himself along the way. So, Tevin is really excited to have Tony join him on the journey by foot this afternoon. Tony finds it hard to wait f or school to end. A thrilling adventure is promised on the way home. But a strong and unexpected twist brings them face-to-face with danger and a disagreement between the two boys threatens to spoil their friendship. What will be the outcome when their adventure turns sour?

About the Author

When I became a teacher, I wanted the children I taught to have the same pleasure I had from reading stories so I started to create stories to share with them. In 1998, I published my first book for children. This book, Tony Meets Big Buster, is my fourth. I am a graduate of the University of the West Indies and hold a Master’s Degree in Education. I lecture in Social Studies Education. I love nature and the outdoors but my greatest passion is reading.
