About the Book

To be able to enjoy one’s past memories is to live twice. And so it has been with my writing of Life in the Slow Lane and now More Memories from the Slow Lane. Growing up in a small town in Minnesota with a loving family and good friends provided a foundation for an enjoyable and memorable lifetime of pleasant memories. I have chosen to remember the years and to forget the tears. These memories from my childhood, high school, college, career, and now retirement blend into what has been a wonderful and happy life. Marrying my childhood friend and high school sweetheart and then our four children and their families has brought it all together.
