The author Christine McCormick grew up in Pennsylvania. She loves the outdoors and children. She attended a writing class and her teachers, Ms. Rose and Ms. Amy, encouraged her to write a children’s book. Holly Cohick, the illustrator is only 13 years old. She loves animals and dreams of becoming a graphic designer someday.
