About the Book

This book is a compilation of several poems I’ve written over the years ranging from high school to my mid-twenties. It is a documentation of my journey into womanhood from falling in and out of love, to the raging harmonies, and ending with becoming a mother. It is my hope that these poems will inspire another young woman to stay strong through her trials and tribulations, because there is a light at the end of that dark tunnel.

About the Author

Sheymirra Tyree served two and a half years in the U.S. Army before graduating from Saint Leo University with a degree in Psychology. She lives with her two small kids in Alabama
